Giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God’s resources well and model Jesus to our brothers, sisters, and community.

Our work is an effort to serve our Father in all things, and one of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits” (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). We call our members to give, not by meeting some obligatory percentage, but gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is his.

We thank those who have helped us meet these needs and pray that all Mars Hill Church would join in faithful, consistent, godly giving as Scripture instructs.

How to Give

If you attend Mars Hill Downtown Seattle, please remember to designate gifts to the Downtown campus.

On Sunday: During communion or in one of the secure giving boxes that can be found throughout the church.

Update Your Pledge on The City
As we end our first fiscal year as a campus, we make key staff and budgeting decisions based upon giving trends and pledges so we can be a wise steward of our resources. We feel blessed to have such an amazing opportunity to love downtown Seattle and help transform our city.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to update your financial pledge on The City:

  • Log on to your profile on The City
  • Click the “My Profile” tab header (this will take you to your information page)
  • Click “Edit” in top right corner
  • Click “Show my Account info” bar
  • You can now make any pledge updates (or address changes)
  • Click “Save Changes” button at bottom of page. Done.
