After the Six

This summer after the 6PM Sunday service, we have fun weekly events lined up where you can meet new people, have fun, and invite a guest. Events include: worship nights, The Watering (bigger and better), post-funks in the lounge, and town hall style discussions.

  • Tonight (8/2): The Watering – Buckley’s | 8PM
  • Next Week (8/9): Town Hall Discussion – Susan Hutchinson | 8PM

For a full schedule on The City – look up “Downtown” under My Groups.

  • After the Six: Town Hall Discussion – Susan Hutchinson

As we continue our discussion with our Seattle leaders, we are pleased to announce Susan Hutchinson as our Town Hall speaker on Aug 9th. The format will be a casual fireside chat as Pastor Tim will ask her some questions around her decision to run for office, what the King Co. Executive role does and how this affects our city. Additionally, we will find out what the strategic opportunities might be for Mars Hill to serve and love our city.Susan is leading all other candidates in this non-partisan race so she will definitely be someone to watch as the race heats up after the primaries. For more information regarding Mrs. Hutchinson,

NOTE: This is not a fundraising event, nor does Mars Hill sponsor any candidate in elections, but wants to open up a dialog as we look to get involved and help love our city.

    Neighborhood Events

Whether you are new or seasoned Mars Hill attendee, plan to regularly stop in and say hello

The Community Groups of Mars Hill Church Downtown cordially invite you to regularly attend a weekly Neighborhood Happy Hour near you!

Click here for more information, meeting times, locations, and directions.

    Neighborhood Happy Hours are:

    • …now the primary location of plugging into Community at Mars Hill Church Downtown Seattle, second only to the Wednesday Gateway event when it’s running.
    • …a great opportunity for you to actually invite your friends and neighbors
    • …the place to meet and catch up with Community Group leaders and folks who live in your neighborhood.
    • …the way to grow your community groups a bit more organically. You should practice making connections with new people and invite them to your group and/or group events.
    • …the place to bring others from your Community Group (if you attend one) so they can actually meet (perhaps for the first time) those who you are on mission with for Jesus in your neighborhood!

    Facility Team Summer Launch!

This summer we are re-launching the facility ministry with a new team! If you love the downtown campus and have yet to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity. The Facility team is responsible for maintaining a clean and non-distracting environment for people to experience Jesus. As part of the team, you would participate in this mission by serving a couple times a month during a Sunday service, helping keep trashes empty, things tidy, and the sidewalks safe. And while you’re at it, you’ll make great friends! The summer launch will start with a two day trip to a Bremerton lake-house to hang out, relax, and get to know one another.
