The Community Groups of Mars Hill Church Downtown cordially invite you to regularly attend a weekly Neighborhood Happy Hour near you!

Neighborhood Happy Hours are:

• …now the primary location of plugging into Community at Mars Hill Church Downtown Seattle, second only to the Wednesday Gateway event when it’s running.
• …a great opportunity for you to actually invite your friends and neighbors
• …the place to meet and catch up with Community Group leaders and folks who live in your neighborhood.
• …the way to grow your community groups a bit more organically. You should practice making connections with new people and invite them to your group and/or group events.
• …the place to bring others from your Community Group (if you attend one) so they can actually meet (perhaps for the first time) those who you are on mission with for Jesus in your neighborhood!

The Well

The Well is a series of events aimed to connect, encourage, and mentor women in the downtown business world. The Well meets every 2nd Monday of the month at the Downtown Campus at 5:30PM. Visit The City or email downtown@marshillchurch.org for more information.

Saturday, June 13th 3:00pm – 7:00pm | Downtown Campus TEACHING: Single Now In Philippians 4 the apostle Paul wrote “for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content”. Pastor Tim and downtown campus member and leader of The Well, Shandel Slaten, will be responding to your questions about contentment and walking faithfully as a single person, whether it be a short, long or life-long stage in your life. They’ll be speaking on things such as; • Practically, how can you be content in this season? • Do you really believe that God has chosen each season of your life for a reason and that he calls you to rejoice in it? • Do you idealize marriage, believing IT will be the thing that finally makes you happy? • What about purpose? • And more… COMMUNITY: Ultimate Dessert Championship! Get ready to compete ladies and gentlemen! Whip out your absolute best dessert recipes and enter your item to win one of many prizes including a $100 gift certificate to Belltown’s sensational urban Italian restaurant – Tavolata and the coveted title of UDC Champion of the World! This means you too guys! However, there is no pressure to enter the contest! All those not competing will be placed on official teams to judge the desserts and determine the winner. We have a resident expert in this kind of competition and the process will be a blast. Gourmet Southern BBQ dinner and drinks will be provided and the evening will give tons of time to just chill out and have fun with others from the campus, not to mention enjoying some amazing desserts! $12 covers dinner and expenses. Downtown Urban Ministry Internships

Mars Hill Downtown is a church that loves Jesus and loves the city. We are passionate about seeing the gospel move forward and continually expanding the mission. We run on a lean staff and have a huge task before us. There is much work to be done and it takes capable, called, Christ centered people, with great capacity. We are currently looking for the right people that are interested in applying for an internship.

This is an amazing opportunity to experience urban ministry and work on the front lines of the exciting things God is doing in our city. You will grow, learn, and contribute as you join the Mars Hill Downtown team.
