Connect Quarterly Events!

In January, we held our first Connect event. The question—is there a need or desire for events planned specifically for the singles in the Downtown campus community? You answered with a resounding YES by an attendance of more than 130 people at the first event. On the registration form, we also asked you what you wanted hear taught and discussed at future events and you responded without hesitation. We took your suggestions, questions and issues and compiled them into a three-part series of events in 2009.Series Topics: SINGLENESS ITSELF: “Single Now” – June 13th PRE-DATING: “What’s up with Dating?” – September 5th DATING: “Dating, now what?” – November 11th Each quarterly event will include teaching and Q&A, followed by a time of fun and community building. The social aspect of each event will be announced about 4 weeks prior to the event date and may be on campus or in the community. We’ll keep things interesting. If you have interest in serving or volunteering with the planning or execution of these events, please email downtown@marshillchurch.org We look forward to Connect-ing with you June 13th. Be prepared for great teaching followed by a very creative social time. This one is sure to get you fired up!

The Well

The Well is a series of events aimed to connect, encourage, and mentor women in the downtown business world. The Well meets every 2nd Monday of the month at the Downtown Campus at 5:30 PM.

Gateway

If you are new here or have been around but haven’t gotten connected, join us at Gateway. This is the easiest way to get connected to life at Mars Hill. Come on down Wednesdays from 7-8:30PM at the Downtown Campus. At Gateway you will be able to connect with other new people, have your questions answered, hear teachings by Pastor Tim and other leaders, and find out what Mars Hill is all about. The first event is April 22nd and happens thereafter weekly until May 27th. Email downtown@marshillchurch.org or register on The City to let us know that you are coming.
