On Saturday July 12th, 115 volunteers met in the parking lot of the downtown campus. Armed with elbow grease and a love for the city, they dispersed as teams and covered over fifty city blocks, picking up trash and painting over graffiti. It was amazing to see the community come together for the purpose of making our neighborhood a safer and cleaner place to live and work. What a great way to incarnate Jesus’ love; as one man said “it’s really great you guys are doing this, even though you’re Christian.”
