Downtown Campus Updates
Here is your bare-bones, yet strangely satisfying, MHC|Downtown updates for this last week before Christmas.
Downtown Community Christmas Party This Thursday, Dec.20 6-9pm!! main parking lot to be used for families and is free- 2333 Western Ave families, friends, enemies and neighbors are welcome to enjoy live Christmas beats (3 unique bands will be taking the floor to
bring in the Christmas cheer) and seasonal treats with a bit of the Wassail to sip. Please bring kids (your own kids, assuming you have them) for mixin’ and minglin’ as we will have a gala of fun for them to enjoy.
Most importantly we are partnering with some ministries/agencies in our neighborhood to bless and serve those in need this Christmas season. Here’s what to bring:
- Millionair Club (serving men): Needs frozen turkeys, hams, toiletries, socks and tee shirts.
- Matt Talbot Center (serving women and children): Needs toys, women’s toiletries, clothing for children and women especially warm clothing ie scarves, mittens, and hats
- New Horizons Ministries (serving teens): Needs toiletries for both male and female, cold weather clothing, sleeping bags, etc
Try to bring one of each item (food, clothing, toy and sundry) and used items are ok.
Construction Progress – Stay tuned after Christmas as we will be going full-steam ahead with the build-out process and will need many hands to come and serve as we continue to prepare for the launch of Mars Hill Downtown.
